The Record — a timeline of the House

Six dates, stated plainly. The record of VERANI from 1896 to today.

1896 — The Name

The family had worked fine leathers for generations. That year, the work took their name. Nothing else changed. The workshops and standards established in these first years remain the reference for everything the House produces.

1958 — The Network

The House formalises its supply lines: tanneries, weavers and workshops across Europe, and the first trading relationships in Arabia. Several of these agreements remain in force today.

1975 — The Gulf

The House's work extends across Oman, the Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The form of the Gulf sandal becomes a central discipline of the House.

1996 — Oman

A permanent house is established in Oman. It remains the seat of VERANI's operations in the Gulf.

2007 — Behind the Names

VERANI stands behind collections, manufacturers and houses across the region. The names are familiar. The hand is not credited. The House prefers it this way.

Today — The House Continues

VERANI works across the Gulf and beyond. The standard set in 1896 has not moved.
