What it is
Vitello Liscio — smooth calf — is full-grain Italian calfskin finished without embossing, marbling or gloss. The surface is the hide itself, corrected as little as possible, dyed through and sealed by hand.
Why the House uses it
A plain surface hides nothing: every cut, every stitch line, every edge is exposed. The House uses Vitello Liscio where it is prepared to be judged on construction alone.
How it ages
Vitello Liscio takes on a soft lustre at the flex points and a gradual overall deepening of tone. It is the leather that most visibly records its owner's use — and wears it well.
