Why the House produces in limited numbers

Limitation as discipline, not scarcity theatre.

The principle

VERANI produces in limited numbers because the standard limits production. The House does not make to demand. It makes to the point at which the work can still be controlled.

What limited means

Limited does not always mean numbered editions. Every VERANI pair is numbered, but the number is a record, not a countdown. Production is limited because materials, finishing and construction require time.

What the House refuses

The House refuses volume when volume would weaken the piece. A VERANI sandal that cannot be answered for should not exist.
